Does anyone have a corner balance scale system? I'd love to dial in my suspension on my MKIII.

Thanks,
Wibby

The club has a set which I believe is at Tims house.I will be setting them up in a couple weeks to do my car,you would be welcome to come here and we could take care of it then.

May have mine in sealer Sunday, had issues with hardener not hardening some of the primer in 2 spots, just finished respraying will sand again tomorrow, spot touch up and hopefully sealer on Sunday.Moving the oldest back from Kirksville the following weekend,so we could do during the week or the weekend after next.

Keith I leave town for work on the 11th thru the 16th. I can do it anytime before or after that. I am hoping to be racing on Sunday at Family Arena.

Wibby, Mike, Keith, and Tim - a couple of things.
First, if I remember right the scales are out of calibration. I'm not sure this is the best time to use them. Paul is the club scale expert, and I think he said we need to recalibrate them using a known weight of about 500 pounds, one pad at a time. Can anyone assist us with this weight? Second, these are "club" scales and I would prefer that we don't lend them out to folks. I don't mind if you (Wibby) visits the guys and get your car scaled while they are using them. That said - Third, I would like to personally invite Wibby to join the club. It's not expensive, and the scales are only one small benefit.

Thanks,
STL Mark

Mark,

I agree 100%. I personally don't think it’s right for me to use the scales without being a member of the club and in good standing. I'm happy to join the club. I just want to be up front with everyone though in saying that at this time (with 2 young boys) I won't be able to be as active a member as I would like and unfortunately the monthly GCC meeting occurs on the same day as the Cub Scout Pack committee meeting. I'm currently the Cubmaster for my boys Pack. The conflict with the Cub Scout meeting is the main reason that I haven't yet joined.

Regarding the calibration issue. If 500 lbs is required, can regular workout weights be used, or what is needed? I have some 45's, 35's and 25's if workout weights can be used.

Thanks,
Wibby

Wibby, sounds like we need to show up at a cub scout meeting :D Obviously, that is more important, but keep an eye out for cruises. Right now, no need with the hot weather, but we have several events planned for the 2nd half of the year.
