Cobra crash

One of our fellow FFR owners was seriously injured when he slid drivers door 1st into a tree. Pray for his recovery as he is currently in a coma. Also keep this in mind the next time you think about pushing the limits on the street (myself included). The season is getting close so be safe everyone!

Saw that on ffcars. I cannot see skid marks leading up to the tree from the road, but I see a lot of debris coming from the driveway. Did he get on it on his way home or leaving and spun it around? This type of accident is always my biggest fear - a side impact. I've accepted the fact that I will be seriously injured or killed if that ever happens. I'm always careful pulling out in to intersections because of this fear.

From the newspaper pictures, it looks like a straight road, and tire track cut across the lawn.

It's not obvious to me if they were wearing shoulder harnesses or not, but this should serve as a reminder to wear them (snuggly) at all times.

I never wore them until my first Cobra was hit and totaled. After that, my wife and I both wore them all of the time.
