• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

 Hey Cobra Nuts: Has anybody been thinking about a color for our club Shirts & Jackets n stuff? When I saw what Mark had done with the Club logo (neat job!) against a black background, I thought the logo stood out really well. I'm still working with a local embroidery shop on embroidery stitching & a patch in twill which can be sewn on shirts & stuff (small on front, larger on back). I hope to have several samples available to bring with me on the 10th. Because the colors in the logo are red, white & blue we should probably select a shirt color which is different than those colors. I would like to have a club banner ready to take to the London Cobra Show which has a BIG club logo on it. Cobra Nut Dave

Dave - you really got the hang of Polls -

I'm voting for white-t's.
Riding around in a convertible, in an all black cockpit with a black t-shirt is torture. I could see a big logo screened on the back and then small logo screened on the front upper left shoulder - keeping the cost down. There are a bunch of on-line options for this sort of service. I can get some options for high quality t-shirts - and get back to you.

Hey Guys,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Greg, your all-purpose web monkey and graphics guy. I have some experience with the car forum thing, being the technical admin over at stevesnovasite.com, a large forum for

... :eek:Chevy Novas:eek:...

Religion aside, ;) I used a company called Printmojo for the Steve's shirts, and we've been very happy with them, both in terms of quality, and service. Getting shirts made is actually pretty easy. The great thing about PM is that they handle payment processing, warehousing, and shipping, as well as making the shirts. Being a small local club, the fulfillment side of it may not be a big deal to you now, but in the long run, it's something you'll need. You can see the order interface here: http://www.printmojo.com/stevesnovasite That's the free version of their store, but the paid version could blend right in with the forum, if you like.

One thing's for sure, no matter where you get the shirts, make sure they're silkscreened, as opposed to direct print. Direct print has gotten better, but it still can't equal silkscreening for quality.

And, if you see any posts by admin, that's me. ;)

Shirts & Jackets

:D:cool::D:D Hey Welcome aboard Greg! My name is David Virgin. I'm the the unofficial club secretary. Would you please be so kind as to email to my office davlaw@csinet.cc some particulars about yourself for our club membership list. Name, address, ph#s, email addresses, etc. Hope to meet on April 10th at our inaugural club meeting. Thanks for the info re the shirts & jackets. Dave

Chuck - you are correct about the Nova in spanish...one of the big reasons the car didn't sell well south of the border.

I also vote white. Would like a sticker or license plate frame for my boring daily driver. Gotta somehow dress up the grandma "desert sand mica" 02 Camry!

White, goes with everything and as mentioned above, Black shirts in a convertible hot car, will be hot - but hide the sweat - :)

Welcome

Welcome Scott and Purple! We're glad you're here.

Please read the announcement in the section re: new memberships and we all hope to see you at the next meeting.

Again - Welcome!

Mark

Color of Club Shirts

White will go very well with my legs right now.
Hey GCC Guys: Black was fast out of the starting gate, but White appears to be a very strong horse that could over take Black. Place UR bets now don't be shut out! :D Obviously I didn't allow enough choices in the original POLL & its time to post a new POLL on color of club shirts Q & see what turns up. Dave/Matthew 10:16
