club apparel

Not sure Keith, Mark? Be aware that there will be a setup fee. Best to do group buy's if possible.

I thought that they said embroidered items could be done with no set up because it was already in the system.

Size

What size is the embroidery? Do we have access to a tape that will produce a jacket back? What size is the outcome?

I'd like to put together a project for some club jackets. As I recall, somewhere is an embroidery tape that will do a jacket back. Anyone know more about this?

This is interesting timing. I have been interested in getting a back patch with the club logo. I have jackets I would like have a patch on the back. Our logo is about 10". Some of the online places I have looked at charge about $15 per with orders over 20. I think having patches both large (10") and small (3"?) would be great. I had planned to bring this up.
Found this site, but size only up to 7"?

The Texas Cobra club have really cool jackets. I sent the lady who makes them our logo and I'm waiting for a price. They have their car embroidered on the back and their club logo and name on the front. this is her web site www.printingandpromotionalsolutionsllc.com

My wife has contacts with a couple different friends in this line of work, she is checking with on jackets, patches and shirts.I will keep you posted.

Embroidery Tape

The key to this is the embroidery tape. It generally costs about $100 to digitize an image and produce a tape that the embroidery machines run from. If we have to re-do this, it is additional cost.

If the tape already exists somewhere, it will be less expensive. But the tape dictates the size of the image. Can't use the tape that does the 3" shirt logos to make a jacket back, (unless you want it 3" also :( )

You guys may want to hold on for just a bit. What Linda is working on is REALLY COOL.

Standard letterman style jacket with GCC 3" logo on the front shoulder and a 10+ inch design on the back that is an embroidery of YOUR CAR - yes YOUR CAR from a picture you supply along with additional lettering in a circle formation.

There is a picture on the 2nd page of photos from the super cruise showing those jackets, that's what made me ask the initial question.

Paul, I dont think its necessary with the new computer run embroidery machines. They can work from a photo.

I think most digitize for free now, I know my wifes friend does in Ofallon.

Who, where in O'Fallon?
I would think a sew on patch of the club logo would be all I need for a leather jacket I already have.
Who does the patches for the Harley guys?

Rich,
She can do the patches as well, waiting to here back from her now on minimums and cost(patches).
As far as the jackets go,club logo is no problem, she would need to see artwork for the backs but shouldn't be an issue.
Hopefully Linda will have some info soon and we can all put our heads together to come up with a sweet jacket. Maybe our own artwork, anyone have something in mind?

The guy that does our embroidery and already has the correct logo ready to go is Tony.
E-mail him at tony@thesweettshirt.com

Call him at 636-405-0026.

He can put our logo on anything that will accept the 3" logo.

I always preferred this style of artwork for a jacket or shirt rather than the club logo...

Use this type of image with the club name below.

What if we want something more than a 3 inch logo? I am with Kerry, maybe come up with something special,I guess cost will be a determining factor.

This it the information I got from the lady in Texas who does their jackets. I've asked for the price of the black jacket also, but do not have an answer yet. This price if for the Denim one. She has a web site with lots of options. http://www.printingandpromotionalsolutionsllc.com/

The cost to set up your local club's logo is a one-time fee of $75.00. That cost is to digitize the logo so that the thread count is laid out and/or sized for production. Once it is set-up, it can be used in that same size specification on various items (shirts, caps, duffle bags, etc.).

The individual cost to produce the jacket that you selected, item #J761 (sizing chart is attached), is $124. That pricing includes the new Cobra Logo for the left chest, your name on the right chest (first and last, or first name only) and the Cobra Car embroidery for the full backer (the pricing also includes applicable tax). Freight is not included so once you and/or the other members decide to proceed, I will need to know the address that these jackets will ship to, so that I can provide you with the total price due.

To proceed with the order, I would need to have the details on your car as follows:

Car - body color and stripe color (if applicable)
Roll bars - one or two?
Quick jacks or bumperettes?
Are your side pipes and roll bars chrome or black?
*You provided me with the information that you wish to have embroidered above and below your car; however, if one of the other members wishes to have something else embroidered, I would need that information as well.

Once you give me the okay to proceed, we will set up the variables for your car embroidery and Club logo and will provide you with a proof prior to production.

Let me know if you have any questions or if I can provide you with any additional information.

Thanks so much,
Debra
