He is very well known in the area. I have considered this, but I currently do not have a suitably-small pistol and the price of good pistols is now through the roof. So it would not only be the cost of the course, but also the cost of the sidearm.:(
Money is just a little tight right now. If I had only invested in S&W.....

Just a suggestion Karl, but I can personally recommend the Kel Tec PF-9 9mm.

It is small, light weight with a magazine capacity of 7 rounds. They are a polymer pistol with steel slide and sell for less than $400. They have a two stage trigger with very long first stage that eliminates the need for an external safety. In addition, a form fitted red laser can be attached to the frame for rapid target acquisition. In a high stress altercation the laser is a huge advantage and not every pistol mounts one cleanly. However the PF-9 does. I own several. I carry one in the summer time when wearing shorts and they can be easily carried without drawing attention. In the winter I prefer a Model 17 Glock with higher capacity magazines but it requires bulkier clothing to be properly concealed.

If you might have interest in the Kel-Tec...PM me as I know of a new one for sale.

Kerry
