WE NEED PICTURES!
It's time to produce the calendar and unless you want a calendar with 6 shots of a LizStick Red cobra and 6 shots of a PolyMetal Grey Metallic Miata, we need photos.
The catch - not all photos will work. There is an album in the gallery with a lot of ideas if you want to take a picture (or have one taken). https://www.gatewaycobraclub.com/gal...s.php?album=36
These are some tips / requirements.
If you need help or have questions, please give me a call.
In order to get the calendars produced and available by Christmas, pictures must be received by November 24th.

- Needs to be the original picture from a digital camera or phone. As a rule of thumb, if the file size is less than 2-5Mb, it is too small and won't work.
- Can't be a forwarded copy - they get reduced in size and are not useable. Texting and emailing pictures won't work. Contact me about transferring photo files.
- No people in the pictures
- The background must be clean, no other cars or items that don't contribute to the picture. Be aware of your backgrounds. Other cars, trees sticking out of trunk, mud puddles, drips, reflections of people (or you) in the side of the car
- Should be a good exposure. If there are too many dark spots or too many areas too bright, the picture can't be salvaged. The ideal time for taking a picture is within one hour after sunrise or one hour before sunset. Forget doing it between 10 am and 3 pm. The overhead sun is too bright and makes too many shadows. A cloudy day is really better - you don't get any shadows.
- Don't fill frame. We use 8-1/2" x 11 format and cameras are typically 4:3 which leaves a 3/8" band across top or bottom. Have 2-3 foot in front or back of car (sides of picture) so we can crop as needed
