I purchased the car from a high-end dealer in July 2010. The car was completely checked out at purchase and preventative maintenance performed (transmission fluid change, difference service, new rear axle seals, brake system flush, new brake pads and shoes all the way around).
It suffered a short in the wiring harness over the engine block in May 2011. Since then the entire wiring harness from the firewall forward has been replaced with high temp wire and split loom. Relays were added to the headlight and engine fan circuits to reduce voltage drop. The alternator was rewired with #4 SGX positive and ground.
The odometer read 5943 when it stopped working shortly after I bought the car. I’ve put about 1500 miles on the car since. This car is great for someone who just wants to get in and drive.
