An idea for the Paddock

I have idea to solve the issues with the Paddock - a technological solution.

1) I can create sub forums (rooms) within the Paddock - i.e. Joke Room, the Rumor Mill, Military and Veterans, Guns and Ammo, and other rooms including say - The Elephant Bar for the GOP, the Donkey Kong for Dems, Doctors and Lawyers, Kids These Days, Theology, etc - get it - various rooms. Tell what rooms you want.

2) THEN - I think I can make the Paddock a secondary log-in - so that it just doesn't show up when you visit the site and view today's posts or new posts - it remains hidden until you go to the Paddock and log-in. That way, if you don't want to see the Paddock you won't. If you want to enter the fray - you can log in to it.

This way we don't impede anyone's speech, and we don't expose anyone who may otherwise may wish to avoid The Paddock. What do you guys think?
 
Sure. Why not. Hey how come I get lumped in with doctors? :D Hey Big O whatya think of that? :D BTW There probably won't be very many visitors playing Donkey Kong. :D

Well, sounds good to me, expect little traffic there though. IMHO :D
 
The present format pretty much does what you are trying to accomplish. If you don't want to read"political garbage" don't click on it!!!!
 
I agree with Snake. No need.

I hate peas! Funny thing is even when they are on my plate I choose not to eat them. Go figure:rolleyes:
 
Ok, that settles that. Mark, you and I should talk and maybe establish some ground rules for the Paddock. Even the Gasholes forum has SOME rules.
 
my idea again

if you don t like it don t read it if you cry about it and complain shout or cuss you lose access , simple . some cry just like a little kid knowing they will get a response
