Agreed, but, as I've learned at work, please EDUCATE yourself on what type of extinguisher will extinguish an electric fire, or an oil fire, or a grease fire.....There are different types,. In the case of the car above, as I understand it, it was probably an oil/fluid fire.

That being said, I've also learned that WE are NOT Firemen. I do not claim to be one, nor know all about this, but I do know that in the case of a car fire you may or may not have a full fuel tank. My suggestion is that if you have a fire, a small one under the hood, use your extinguisher, if that fails, get away from the car. I've seen too many company safety videos showing explosions. You have insurance....don't chance it. My .02 worth.
