A few observations:
- There was so much to do, it would have taken the entire day to get through 1/2 of it downtown
- Was great to see the streets of St. Louis with people on them...everywhere
- Found I can only throw 57 mph :rolleyes:
- Only took 30 minutes to get in to the stadium, security wasn't THAT bad.
- Wondered if the 8 snipers posted on the roof of the stadium ever looked at me :eek:
- Still wondering how a B-2 Bomber flies:confused:
- Wondering why there wasn't a Ted Williams like tribute to Stan the man?
- Wondering how they edited out all the boos I heard at the stadium for Obama on TV?
- Found the all star game to be as exciting as the world series game I attended in '06

Once in a lifetime opportunity. Always wanted to go to an All Star game and a World Series game, guess I can mark those off my bucket list.

Your right about the snub for Stan. He deserved a LOT better.

they really "MLB" jambed Stan the Man, should of been a whole lot more for him.
i say as a player w/24 all-star shows and all his stats he is in the top 5 players of all time.
not to mention my personal favorite. i have 2 signed photos from him to me from sportsman park.it was great seeing all the people downtown, kept me from workin down there though:(
the game was close and i owe someone some ted drews:rolleyes:
i had the NL at 3 to 2 their favor.
and whats his name couldn't catch that fly ball, 2 of AL caught theirs in the same spot.
and the boo's, well to each his own.
u should of heard the boo's when the last prez threw out the first pitch it rocked the house:p
i am not much on boo-ing anyone, everyone deserves respect in my eyes.
thats whats the matter with some in this world they forgot what true respect is.;)

If the job was easy, more people would be lining up to do it, don't you think?

Dad taught me i listened was raised by an old breed Marine, and believe me u listened, if not
u still had to. he taught me that the president of our Dear country is still our president and he should be supported otherwise respect gets lost and that is not what our country needs at this point in time.or any time guarantee there is satire and i am always for humor sometimes too much, but it takes me away from the b.S. of things that are happening. i wish the old man was in charge;)cause he would scare the sh*t out of anyone. and they would listen.and to put things straight i come from Gephardt land, the south side of St. Lu
so that pretty much says the way i voted. i come from Ranken File background and support
American made all the way. never been to wally world but once to get a pair of boots that was needed at 5 am that one of my brothers forgot on our winter float/troat fishin trip.
just wish our country would stand more together, remember the little guy and all the hungry children in our land i believe need help. before our support goes across the ocean somewhere where the really don't give a rats ass about us. it all starts with family, so keep them together...united we stand divided we fall...

HEY I LIKE the serious side of Big Leo. There is way to much political partisan bickering, backbiting, criticism & getting even going on this country & it needs to stop. We are all Americans & we all love our country regardless of our political opinions. We just have different opinions on how we achieve what's best for our country. Let's all give each other a chance to govern the way we think is best when we are elected & show proper support for one another. BUT keep the funny political stuff coming too. :D Sorry if this was OT. Delete or edit as necessary if deemed OT.
 
PV-All star game in your home city no less definately a bucket list item!!!! Congrats on being able to go. That opportunity will never come again in our lifetime, sorry die hard Stl fans our fair city will not host another all star game any time soon. I still remember going to my first series in 82!
