In an effort to be more central to our members (per the Member map recently posted HERE), I'm asking for ideas for a good meeting spot. Keep in mind the following:
- Typically need space for 12 - 20 people depending on attendance
- Food is NOT required to be on site
- Quiet area is preferred. Many cannot hear over the crowd noise in a restaurant, but, I also realize this provides the best option for seating (although meeting in a parking lot and bringing our own chairs would be acceptable) etc... An outdoor patio or parking lot would be considered.
The Red Robin we tried last year has since closed. The Sybergs in Chesterfield is still an option as they will allow us to sit outside on the picnic tables on the West side of the building, but, awfully hot in the dead of summer. Sonic is fine, but many don't like the food there, however, there are other food options nearby.
Thanks to members Steve Miles (St Charles) and Tom Delaney(Creve Coeur) for hosting meetings in 2025, we always have an option for a meeting or two at their locations.
Just wanted to find out if others have ideas for 2026 meetings? Thanks.
