11/10/15 Meeting @ SONIC
Good turnout despite it being dark and cold! And 4 brave souls drove (although, only 2 were roadsters! RICK “THE” Man! And Keith “THE” Man2!)
The following members were in attendance:
Recent Events:
An unscheduled cruise is ALWAYS welcome.
All it takes is someone to ask!
10/9 – 10/10 Lake Garnett Raceway – a few guys trailered to Kansas for an opportunity to take their roadsters out on the Historic Lake Garnett Raceway. Looks and sounded like a lot of fun, and one to make plans to attend next year.
10/18 Fall Colors Run: Keith Mueller led us on a GREAT Sunday Cruise through SouthEastern Missouri. Little chilly in the morning, but warmed up nicely and turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day! THANKS AGAIN Keith, LOTS of fun. There were also attendance prizes and mind puzzles if you weren’t driving!
Super Cruise 11/5 – 11/8: after an unfortunate rescheduling, a few members were able to make the trip to Harrison and sounds like they had a GREAT time! Tim has identified some new roads and already making plans for next year! If you haven't checked out some of the pictures on the forum and the GCC Facebook page, they look beautiful!
Upcoming Events:
Nothing significant to report on financials. Prepaing for 2016 Cobra calendars.
Paul is also busily working on new website updates that should really improve the experience and functionality. (We have Virtual Garages coming!) And email tools to improve communications.
Speaking of Calendars, PLEASE send 2 of your favorite pictures of your car (no nude girls or sons(?) please) to Mark Earls, by Thanksgiving. Mark will be sending out an email with more information shortly.
THIS Saturday will be a HUGE BonFire @ Rich’s place. 11/14, fire starts @ 5pm, earlier if you want to shoot.
Bring a dish and a stick (BYOB and a chair is also probably a good idea)
Should be FUN!
11/21 will be Tim’s “Body Off” party, preparing for his Winter Mods. Details to come on the forum. Come out to help or just talk!
No meeting in December.
We will have our BIG Year-in-Review / Christmas Party in January @ Fastlane (BIG thanks to Dave!) Significant others are invited!
Looking ahead to next year; start thinking about what you enjoyed this year and would like to have added to the 2016 Activities Calendar!
Some suggestions so far:
