Mrk4 sold at action

Someone had auction fever real bad. Wait til reality sets in.

Wow! Thats stupid IMO. Didn't see anything spectacular on the build either that would push it to that price.

Thats the fuel pump I believe. Bad place to install it.
I think Tim nailed it, some one had about 5 tooo many adult refreshments.. Hell I'd sell him mine with a 45% discount, and no buyers fee

Ah, fuel-pump, makes sense when I zoomed in closer. Never saw one there before.

Not sure who built the dash, but that is a strange layout and there's NO WAY he could reach that last switch when buckled in!
Couple sloppy items: switches are not in a straight line, wires hanging below dash on both sides, no gauges to left of steering wheel(?), 5 indicator lights random across the top, steering wheel center is not straight (I know wheel is crooked too). Sorry, OCD kicking in on a $137k+ car.
Agreed, I think this was a shot game: take a shot everytime it hit $10k over $40,000. That's stupid price for that car! Now maybe if it had an original Nascar Cammer or a Kaase Boss9, nah still doesn't make sense!

Mark, I know what you mean.. For that price that thing should be 100% perfect.

I was wondering about that. Is that considered capital gains, income or what?

That's a better profit than my first house! IRS police will be all over that, I'm sure.
I'm betting Barrett-Jackson has to turn-over all sales to the Uncle Sam. Taxes for $1M+ cars are of great interest to them!!
