I think that is like an electric chainsaw motor. Need a LOT bigger motor to push us.

Hey Rich,
It looks like you may have a few serpent express trailers at your place (?) This may sound like a dumb question (since you have 3 of em there) but how do you like em ? I'm starting to research different trailers to use for transporting cars/motorcycles....thanks !

Ken

Ken I really have been very happy with the Serpent Express. It tows very well, pulls easy. It isn't a roomy trailer so if you need to pack extra things , like tools or tires it isn't the easiest. I have a short trailer, only 14', a longer one can give you more room in front of the car. The other two I store for Tim & Mark.

Thanks, Rich... I've heard good things about them. I'm still not decided if I want to use one trailer to transport the motorcycles and the cars, or use separate trailers. I'll need to see if they can install tracks on the bed to use the trailer for the bikes. Are you happy enough with the canvas cover or any thoughts on the hard vs soft variants?

The cover has held up good. Not sure what is made of, a heavy vinyl over cloth, it's good quality. I bought mine used, I think it's 8-10 yrs old, and don't have any issues. Tim's has red stripes and they have faded some. The only thing to be aware of is they aren't very tall, especially towards the front. You may consider the tall version, like Tim's. There are 4 in the club, Tim's, Mark's, Keith's, and mine, any of them would share their thought on the trailers.
