New source for metal

They have been online for many years. I have checked their prices in the past and didn't find them competitive. Maybe without shipping it'll be better.

I always thought the shipping was a deal-breaker on ordering metal on-line, also like walking around and looking (not sure if that is allowed at Metal Supermarkets).

The pricing at Shaprio's could be good, but was always a crap-shoot, even for scrap metal / cut-offs.
Sometimes I walked out of there feeling like I got a good deal, sometimes I felt like I got shafted.

Thats mostly how I felt. :(

I was looking for some 1.75 x .25 wall DOM today. At Metals Depot on line the price is $65 for 2 foot without shipping. I then looked up Shaprio's and the same 2 foot piece is $28.00. I'll be going to Shaprio's when I get a day off. I do feel like they always charge more than their online price when I go there though. I think I will print it out and take it with me and see what happens.

Just curious Tony, did you check what Metal Supermarkets sells it for? (I wonder if they would price-match?)

And this is why Facebook creeps me out. I did one Google search and it appears on my Facebook feed.(THEY'RE WATCHING US!)

It shows $60 online from Metal Supermarkets. Makes me wonder how Shaprio's can be so cheap???
