TBull's ride update

She's happy for me. She kept telling me, "Go ahead. This is the day you've been waiting for." She's great. I love the car. I took it to my folks house and gave my brother a ride too. He's 6'4" and was a little cramped. My dad, who gets around with a walker and used to be almost 6'6" wants me to figure out how to get him in it for a ride. He's so weak, I don't know how I'll get him in. He gave me 9 different kinds of grief about the powerplant. He said he'd never thought he'd see the day I drove a Ford. I told him the story about the 65 vette with a 351 and how I wouldn't like that either. Cobra is a Ford and I love the car, so I'm driving a Ford. Are you going to be home tomorrow? I'm going to take it out for a spin and I could stop by and show you the foot box. I'd like to see the progress on your ride too. Anyone else? Next party I get to give some rides. Shelley and I will figure out when we can have the adoption party. I'll see you all later. I'm going to finally try and get some sleep.

Awesome! I would indeed figure out how to get your Dad in. You lift weights, right? You can get him in there. I would think that if you let the pipes cool, you could let him sit in the car sideways then maybe swing him in. Take the door off if you have to. Enjoy TBull! :D

More pic's of TBULL's ride

Yeah Thanks Scott!!

Thanks for the picture. I need to take more of them, but so far I've been more interested in driving it. :D I'll try and take some this weekend and add them to the gallery. Is there a prescribed file size we are supposed to maintain? I mean the web is only capable of displaying lower resolution photos. You can have a much higher resolution and it will take longer to load, but it will only be displayed at the lower resolution.

Awesome Dan, but you're right, the horns have got to be re-located.

Dave, the red things are part of Dan's AWESOME stereo system, man, you should hear those things thump! :D Actually Dan mentioned he didn't like them there when we talked at Chuck's party, if you'd been there, you would know....

Moving the horns on the bull..

Maybe that's one of the things I can do with the long weekend. Moving the horns that is. I have plans to take some pictures and post those as well. I going to change the oil, but I need to get the front end aligned. I checked with a couple of places. One didn't know what a cobra was. until I showed him a picture. He just wanted me to bring the car in. I'm thinking not. The service manager at Dobbs will be able to tell me Tuesday wehn he get back in. I know Fast lane can do it, but odes anyone know someplace in around Fenton that could do the work. I would like to find someone local for the few things I can't do myself. Mark, who do you use for stuff like this? Thanks.

Hey Tim, maybe he'll add neon lights next....but, oh, that's right, those are only reserved for low riders :D

I don't know

At 4 inches of ground clearance, I don't know how much lower you can go and still be able to drive these things.:D

Dan,

Why pay a shop that doesn't know squat about our cars to do something you can do yourself.

You're thinking what is he talking about?

The alignment is a thing with the correct specs, a few hours of time, that can be done with some simple tools.

Send a email or give Dean Lampe a call. He just wrote an article for kit car magazine on performing your own race car spec garage alignment. You can also but this mag. with the article...at the newstands. I have already set my base line alignment but will recheck it before my first go-cart ride.

I'm paranoid about having grease monkies at local shops mess with all of my cars....

Keep on abusing me. :p* I guess I deserve it for missn Chuck's party.

I use Master Tech Auto Service.
They are at Manchester and Old State Road.
They are awesome.
They work on several Cobra's/Vettes.
Scotty (their best tech) really knows his stuff.
He works clean, and carefully.

They are awesome.

I still have the kit car mags if you need 'em

Thanks guys. I'd like to see the magazines to see how hard it is. If I think it is beyond me, I still may have someone else do the work. I might send Dean an IM to see if he might have an eltronic form of the article too. Thanks for the input.
