Ok GCC guys is it time 4 a nickname 4 Kerry. What about "The Kerry Man?" Kinda like "the Candy Man, ala Sammy Davis, Jr. The Kerry Man can. Or how bout "Iron Man" from Ironton?
Weigh in here Hollywood & Scotty. Help me out. lets find something that sticks like Hollywood's nickname. BTW how bout Scooby Doo 4 the Scottster. & what about Mark. Hollywood suggested Goldilocks 4 Scotty, but that didn't work 4 Scotty, would it work 4 Mark? :eek: BTW any nickname MUST be rejected if the proposed recipient rejects it. This MUST be an immutable/constitutional rule. :D
 
I like Ironman

With all of long distance M/C rides Ironman does to attend GCC functions, I think that is appropriate...plus his three tours in 'Nam.

Where did you come up with Scooby Doo? That's odd, it's one of my favorite Hanna Barbarra comics, and my son likes it too. Although I can make a good voice impersonation, I'm not sure if it is 'cool enough' as a snake nickname...

One suggestion....

I am flattered that time is being spent trying to come up with a nickname for me... and although "Ironman" has a ring to it...please don't let Kathy's participation go unnoticed. She is my better half and certainly deserves as much credit..or more than I do for our long distance forays...

Plus I am really very blessed... as she is a genuine "gear head". Something rare for most women. Not only can she ride on the back of a bike for 8.5 hrs with out a single complaint...She LOVES Cobra's and can't wait until our car is finished. She specifically asked if she could install the transmission herself...just for the recognition of doing it. How many women do you know who would make such a request? Especially a woman with a physical disability from birth who only has full use of one hand?

She deserves to be included in any name suggested...

Dave had made a reference a couple weeks back when he referred to both of us as the "Road Warriors". Kathy saw that and thought it was very appropriate...and she was proud of the moniker. Perhaps that might be a better nickname to describe Kathy and Kerry...rather than just Kerry.

I would call Kerry "Doc" since he knows so much about the ins and outs of engines.

Hmmm...Scotty....I would call him "Scratch".....as in scratch builder, that is :D

I have no problem with Scooby Doo, don't get me wrong...Scratch...ummm...keep tryin' there are a few of us doing the scratch building thing.

We're almost there. I say we kick it around some more. Ask your son. Which one he likes best. Who was the curly headed side kick for scooby doo? I still like Scooby Scott. Once again dude U have to like it. :D
 
Let's see, what do we know about Scott?
- He's an architect
- Building his own Cobra
- Said Cobra has 4.6 modular engine
- Has IFS on the front of the car :D
- Exceeded the limits of my torque wrench
- Has Anthracite Bullet wheels

Throw all that together and what do you get? Hmmmm how bout Bullet - His car is going together fast as a Bullet, he has Bullet wheels, his car will be faster than a Bullet. OR since he has a DOHC 4.6 - how bout Doc or Dohc? Since he is an architect, Archy(pronounced arky)

Giving him Bullit would be sacreligious I think as Steve McQueen 'owns' that name.

Well ya know Scotty did own a green Mustang at one time. Was it a Bullit? Whats it gonna b Scotty?
 
Bullit, Jr. :)

My mustang was a Bullit clone (Pony Package) with Bullit wheels, lemans stripes and the like, color was not the same as Steve McQueen's in Bullet (his was dark green), but it was the Legend Lime Metallic, the 2005/2006 recreation of the 1967/1968 Lime Gold used on the original fastbacks...

I say the heck with the Jr. In my book UR not Jr. 2 anybody. U rock Scotty. If Steve McQ doesn't like it tuff. UR our Bullit. :cool:

I think U have 2 go to edit profile after clicking on "user CP" in the tool bar. Congratulations Bullit. :D U know come 2 think of it, Bullit kinda goes with UR paint scheme, as in gunmetal gray, silver & black. Label him faster than a speeding Bullit, more powerful than a locomotive, able 2 pass anybody in a streaking bullit. Go Bullit Go.
